ISO-CHEK Design
The ISO-CHEK contains two
filters for collecting different phases of the
isocyanate. A PTFE filter to collect the aerosol
phase and an impregnated GFF to collect the vapor phase.
After sampling, the PTFE
filter is removed from the cassette and placed into a
jar provided with a derivatizing solution* in order to
preserve the isocyanate.
* Derivatizing
solution contains Methoxy-2-phenyl-1 piperazine reagent
(MOPIP) in toluene. See

Monomers
vs. Oligomers
Unlike other
Isocyanate testing methods, the ISO-CHEK can resolve the
isocyanates present in monomers from the oligomers.
Usually only the monomers present are reported, but
oligomers can be requested. Call us for more
