Placing Orders During Holidays

Keep in mind that we recommend refrigerated products be kept outside of refrigeration for no more than 2 calendar days while being shipped to the customer. Because of this, orders that contain refrigerated products can have their shipping dates delayed to avoid holidays and weekends. This can result in significant shipping delays during the holiday season.

Sample Receipt During Holidays

All carriers will be notified to hold packages on Assay Technology holidays. They will store them until we return. Since some analytical methods have limited holding times, please plan your sampling events accordingly so that no holding times are exceeded. You can find a list of holding times here.

Reports

Remember that our analysis turnaround time (TAT) is based on business days. Report due dates will therefore be extended to account for holidays. For example, a standard 6-day TAT project received on December 16, 2025 isn’t due until December 29, 2025. The expected reporting date can always be found on the lab work order confirmation sent shortly after receipt of samples.
