As most of our customers are already aware, Assay Technology operates two industrial hygiene labs: one at our headquarters in Livermore, CA and a second in Boardman, OH. Historically, we’ve divided our various analytical methods between the two locations. However, given our strong growth over the last several years, we’ve decided that a little reorganization is needed to keep all labs operating as efficiently as possible.
In addition to an industrial hygiene lab, our CA location also houses our gas mask/sorbent testing lab, our manufacturing/shipping facility, and our administrative offices. In order to consolidate services and devote more space to our gas mask testing lab, we have been in the process of transferring almost all industrial hygiene analysis into one central location: our lab in Boardman, OH. Importantly, both locations will remain ISO 17025 accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association.
What is changing?
Several types of badges which were previously analyzed at our California lab (1382 Stealth Street, Livermore, CA 94551) should now be sent directly to our Ohio lab located at 250 DeBartolo Place, Suite 2525, Boardman, OH 44512:
- Our 555AT badge analysis for Ethylene Oxide was moved to Ohio as of May 2024.
- Our 575AT badge analysis for Nitrous Oxide was moved to Ohio as of August 2024.
- Our 574AT badge analysis for Halogenated Anesthetic Gases was moved to Ohio as of November 2024.
- Our 592AT badge analysis for Acrolein is in the process of moving to Ohio. Analysis is expected to start in February 2025.
- Our 584AT badge analysis for Ammonia will be transitioning to OH shortly.
Badges that are sent to the incorrect lab will be forwarded to the correct location, which may delay your results. For the fastest service, especially samples requesting rush analysis, please ensure that you adjust the shipping address for your samples as listed above. Thank you!
