581 TraceAir® II Aldehyde High Sampling Rate Monitor

Assay Technology’s, 581 Aldehydes badge is our fastest sampling rate, lowest reporting limit aldehyde badge. This monitor was designed to get a reporting limit as low as possible.
The 581 monitor will work for formaldehyde and the reporting limit will be lower than the existing 571 badge. However, the 571 badge is still the badge Assay Technology recommends for formaldehyde monitoring. In most cases, it easily meets reporting limit requirements for OSHA, even the OSHA STEL, unlike other badges on the market.

In October of 2017, the TraceAir badge was updated to address a common complaint end users have had since it was introduced by DuPont many years ago. The badge was too easy to pull apart when removing the sampler caps. The TraceAir configuration gets an update.
Refrigerated product. Maximum 2 days in shipping. Avoid shipping over the weekend. Store refrigerated, upon receipt.
Before sampling, ship at room temperature to arrive within 2 business days to preserve maximum shelf life. Store refrigerated.
After sampling, store and ship at room temperature. Return samples to the laboratory for analysis within 28 days of sampling.
Use this badge for 15 minute/STEL/Ceiling limit sampling.
Also, use this badge for 24 hour/IAQ sampling.
This monitor may be analyzed for the Aldehyde Panel, for an upgrade fee of $170. Please select the panel on the lab request form, and contact Customer Service (800-833-1258) to arrange for the payment of the upgrade fee.
