These Parallel Particle Impactors are used for respirable crystalline silica and dust sampling.
- They contain preweighed PVC filters allowing the customer to request respirable dust.
- They are disposable, so no cleaning is required. (The original PPIs were designed to be reusable, but customers preferred disposable.)
- OSHA lists them in their final rule for silica.
- These impactors are designed for a flow rate of 2.0 L/min. Different flow rates are possible with different impactors, but Assay Technology does not stock them.
- No cyclone required.
The dust analysis will be performed at AT Labs, however the silica analysis will be performed by a subcontracted laboratory.
